Who is Mr Monday?
I’m 6'6". That tends to answer the first question.
But being unusually tall—and unusually equipped—is probably the least interesting thing about me. The latter is what got me into this world, but it’s not what has kept me here. I find it’s best to get those two facts out of the way early so we can move on to the more interesting things.
I’m educated, intellectual, and endlessly curious. I’m an artist and craftsman, a writer, musician, inventor, entrepreneur, traveler, and father. I’ve spent my life making things, learning things, and collecting experiences that don’t fit neatly into a single biography.
I can move comfortably between a black-tie event and a backyard barbecue, an art opening and a dive bar, an intellectual rabbit hole and an evening where nobody needs to be particularly intellectual at all.
I’m confident without needing to perform confidence. Masculine without needing to prove masculinity. I like conversation, curiosity, humor, physicality, and people who know what they want—or are interested in discovering it.
Mr. Monday is an extension of all of that.
You’re not hiring a character I put on for a few hours. You’re getting my attention, my presence, my curiosity, and a genuinely unusual human being to spend some time with.
A biography can tell you what someone has done, but it can’t tell you what it feels like to sit across from them.
That part requires meeting me.
